Dear family of Joan: I missed a Christmas card from Joan last year and wondered if she had passed on. She was a lovely person and she took over my staff nurse job at the Lucas County Health Department in 1981 when I decided to return to working in the hospital. We exchanged Christmas cards and kept in contact for over 50 years. I would see her at the nursing get togethers for the years she worked at the health department. She knew my friends who had gone to Admiral KIng in Lorain. We just clicked and I was amazed at how she loved and lived life in Florida. I tried a search including school nurse and her obituary came up today. Please accept my belated condolences and know she was a lovely kind person to all and me personally. Joyce Hamer
