Renee’ DiSisto Gebr MacLear

December 12, 1966 ~ May 06, 2025

Renee’ DiSisto Gebr MacLear age 58 passed away peacefully at home on May 6th surrounded by
her loving sisters Michele and Danielle and husband Thomas.
Renee was a bright star of love that filled every heart she met through her life.
Born in New Rochelle, New York, on December 12th, 1966, she came unto this world raised by
two loving parents, Sarah & Richard DiSisto. A twin no less, she became the 3rd sibling of four.
Four minutes younger than her sister, Michele.
She embodied the spirit of this loving Italian family from where she came, as she grew up with
dreams and skills that were to be her strengths in life.
Renee’ held a special bond to her older brother Richard, both personally and professionally as
she dedicated many years to his wonderful restaurant ventures. She reserved a most important
part of herself for her little sister Danielle, lending love, comfort and guidance in her younger
years. She loved and admired her brother-in-laws, Greg and Gary. She often said how blessed
she was to have them in her life.
Renee’ met her husband, Thomas Gebr MacLear, in Los Angeles in 2012 and were married on
June 2nd 2017 and have since spent their life creating a relationship that was to be a journey of
heart, life-passion and music.
Renee’ was also appointed curator/archivist of Thomas Gebr’s late father’s Art Estate. She
restored, cataloged and sold fine art by Master Artist Jaroslav Gebr throughout the world.
These skills were filled in every act and gesture with everything she did; singing, composing and
entertaining helped make this world a little happier through her infectious smile.
Her other dedication in life was to the Animal Shelters and Rescues in Los Angeles and also
served as a volunteer for a ‘battered women’ hotline.
Renee’ was a special partner in life and music to her twin Michele. They had recently reunited
creatively recording a CD which found generous radio play, their future held open dreams.
Renee’ is and always will be greatly missed by her family and husband. We will never be the
same without her.

This is a devastating loss to the DiSisto family. We are all devastated.
It’s funny how cousins no matter where they move or how far away they are always have a special bond. We all felt this for Renee. it’s still quite unbelievable as it happens so quickly. I prayed for her healing, and I prayed for her not to have pain and the two times that I really really was in deep prayer. I turned on my radio and the song Sara smile came on …so to me I knew my aunt was waiting with arms wide open for her daughter To come home… and now she is home with her mother and father, who are so very missed as well. so sorry for your loss guys…
Love Kathy

What a wonderful human being, I’m so lucky to have known her. I met Renee at Rye Neck High school, I was a Rye High school guitarist in a Rye Neck Band. I taught her a little guitar when she was down on herself about where she was in music; I’m so proud of where she’s has gotten. Tom, my sincere condolences to you and your family and the Disisto family, Alfonso from Rye, NY and Ninole, Hawaii

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
