Michael Steven Gellert, 74, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2025. He was born on February 23, 1951, in Syracuse, New York, the son of Albert and Alice (nee McDougall) Gellert.

A graduate of Henninger High School Class of 1969 in Syracuse, he then went on to college earning his Bachelors and Juris Doctor Degrees.
Michael married Christine Cosentino on August 3, 1974, in Syracuse, moving to Florida in 1978. Michael was the father to three children, Katie, Jeffrey, and Andrew.

In his youth he was a Boy Scout, achieving the rank of Eagle Scout, and had a love for History, especially WW-II, coaching Baseball, and NASCAR.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Alice Gellert and his son, Jeffrey.

He is survived by his wife, Christine; his daughter and son-in-law, Katie and Noel Santana; his son, Andrew; his grandchildren, Owen and Taryn Santana; his three brothers, Myles, Karl, and Buddy Gellert; his two sisters, Karen Lewis and Lisa Gellert; and his two nieces, Heather Orama and Nicole Octavino.

A Family Gathering will take place at a later date.
