Keith Eugene Plasco

November 12, 1946 ~ October 29, 2025

Keith Eugene Plasco, Sr., 78, of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away on October 29, 2025. Born and raised in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, Keith spent most of his life there before retiring to Florida, where he enjoyed the sunshine and a slower pace of life.

Keith was a proud truck driver of 50 years whose dedication and hard work defined much of his life. He took great pride in his career and the friendships he built along the way. During his career outside of work, Keith found peace and joy on the water—especially sailing his beloved boat, “Tumble Dry,” on Lake Nockamixon. He was also a lifelong dog lover, and his faithful companions were never far from his side.

Keith is survived by his devoted wife, Catherine Basmajian Plasco; his children Keith E. Plasco, Jr., Kelly Plasco Lyles (Steve), and Kirk Plasco; and stepchildren John Basmajian and Joseph Basmajian. He was preceded in death by stepdaughter, Stacy Basmajian. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Nathan, Seth, Sarah, Sophia, and Andrew, and great-grandchildren Auguste and Caden. Keith is also by survived by his brothers Robert and Richard Plasco.

Keith will be remembered for his easy smile, love of the open road, Nascar, Casinos, and the WWE; but mostly his deep affection for family, friends, and the simple joys of life.

A private memorial service will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County or the American Cancer Society.

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
