Lynn Strutt Spadaccini

September 23, 1957 ~ November 05, 2025

With profound sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Lynn Strutt Spadaccini on November 5, 2025. She was predeceased by her daughter, Rachel, her mother, Louise Strutt, and her father, Jack Strutt.
She leaves behind her husband, Dave; son, Jack; sister, Janet Dekker; nieces, Cydney Rosenthal, Abbey Smythe, and Lindsay Spadaccini; nephew, Zachary Spadaccini; brothers-in-law, Robert and Louis Spadaccini and Michael Dekker; and sister-in-law, Lisa Spadaccini.
Lynn was a dedicated educator in Brevard for over 44 years, serving as a teacher, principal, and district leader. She believed deeply in every child’s potential and worked tirelessly to support students, families, and staff. Colleagues remember her as a steady, supportive mentor who always had time to listen, offer encouragement, and help others grow.
Lynn loved to travel, shop, and spend time with her family. Some of her happiest moments were simple days together-sharing meals, laughing, telling stories, and cheering on her UK Wildcats with the people she loved most. Her warmth, kindness, and sense of fun made every gathering a little brighter, and she leaves behind countless cherished memories.
Please consider donations in her memory to the Brevard County Animal Shelter or the Brevard Zoo.

Lynn loved like no one else. (Especially University of Kentucky) A fiercely loyal person with a heart of gold and a way with people. She was so gentle with children and listened to them so intently that they loved and trusted her. She was always there when you needed an ear and never asked for anything in return. We had great fun, deep laughs and meaningful conversations. Thank you for sharing her with us.

The sweetest laugh, always with her whole heart. She will be missed by so many. She touched countless lives, impacted young minds. Her devotion to family was limitless. With her angel wings she watches from above.

Lynn and I grew up in the same neighborhood in Fern Creek Kentucky. I remember camping out in her backyard yard with her, Janet, my sister and a few other friends. We hung some blankets over a clothesline and that was our tent. Good times. Lynn and her family raised Dobermans and one was Black Bart, well he had gotten out and I couldn’t climb up that tree fast enough.
Lynn was a special kind individual who will be missed by many.
Thoughts and prayers to all

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
