Robert Netupski, born and raised in New Britain, Connecticut, passed away peacefully at the age of 92 on December 13, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He proudly served in the United States Air Force, an experience he spoke of often and regarded with great pride. He later served as Vice President of the New Britain Herald and was also an accomplished artist. An avid reader, books were his constant companions and a lifelong source of joy and reflection.
In 1978, Robert married the love of his life, Rhona, and together they shared a beautiful life in Vero Beach, Florida. He enjoyed teaching art classes, golfing, fishing, metal detecting, and being an active part of his community.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rhona; his sister, Vivian Zotter (Carl); his three children, Bruce Kaye (Denise), Mark Kaye, and Nancy Lowe; and his cherished grandchildren Brian, Kevin, Randie, Adam, Jeffrey and Stephanie and many great-grandchildren. Robert will be missed greatly and was deeply loved by his family and friends.

Dear Nancy & Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of Bob from Plainville to Florida. He always made me feel special whenever I saw him. He was one of a kind. I also have a piece of his beautiful art in my home that I will always cherish.

Jeffrey, Nancy, Stephanie, and Family,
We are so sorry for y’all’s loss. We’re sending our love and prayers. Bob was a great man and I’ll always remember how much he would make us laugh when he would come visit y’all back when Jeffrey and I were in high school. His whit and zings would have in me in tears. He will be missed but I know he’s looking after y’all in heaven with David.
Love,
Evan and the Hisler Family
