Marilee Webster Pecorelli, 78, of Vero Beach, Florida died peacefully December 17 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.

Marilee was born in Fitchburg, MA daughter of the late Kenneth A Webster Sr. and Madeleine (Bean)Webster.

Marilee graduated from Fitchburg State College with a degree in medical technology and worked as a microbiologist at Burbank Hospital in Fitchburg for several years. She moved to the pharmaceutical industry, working for Astra-Zeneca as the principal microbiologist at its Westboro, MA location prior to her retirement.

Marilee and her husband Peter loved to travel visiting several places in the United States and were fortunate to enjoy visiting Italy many times in recent years. Marilee and Peter moved to Vero Beach in 2017. She will be missed by her family and friends in New England and in Florida.

Marilee is survived by her husband Peter of Vero Beach, a sister Jo-Ann Webster of Northampton, MA, a brother Kenneth “Heidi” A Webster Jr of Marston Mills, MA.

At her request, services will be private.

A contribution in her name may be made to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation .

They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
