Roseann Greene

August 11, 1943 ~ November 02, 2025

Roseann Greene (AKA Roseanna Peluso, Roseann DiChiaro) 82 years old of Vero Beach FL, passed away on November 2nd 2025 after battling long term illnesses.

She was born in the Bronx, NY to Carmelo and Mary Peluso who immigrated from Italy in the 1920’s  She attended Evander Childs High School and then went on to Cosmetology School and in the 80’s owned her own Hair Salon located in Nanuet NY.

She was married to Frank DiChiaro from 1963 to 1979 and raised 2 children in Sloatsburg NY (Rockland County). She moved to Plantation FL in 1987 where she met Mark Greene and they later married and resided in Vero Beach FL for the last 27 years.

She is survived by her husband Mark Greene and children Gina Battle of Vero Beach, and  Michael DiChiaro of Greensboro NC.  She has 5 beautiful grandchildren, Mikey DiChiaro, Austin DiChiaro, Sebastian Battle, Siena Battle and Jackie Williams. She also has 3 great-grandchildren, Asher, Reef and Lincoln.

She is survived by brothers Ceaser Peluso and Louis Peluso both of NY and was preceded in death by her oldest brother Michael Peluso who passed on the same date of November 2nd in 2012.

To her family and friends she was known as RoRo. She was a fun, vivacious, classic NY Italian, unapologetically unfiltered that loved her family. She suffered for many years in pain and illness but was tough and resilient. Her children and grands are what gave her the most joy along with her close special relationships with her nieces Bernadette and Michelle and her daughter-in-law Colleen.

She never went anywhere without lipstick, even wore it around the house, so I am sure before she entered the pearly gates she put some on!

We will miss you always RoRo!

Her favorite scripture she has written on her fridge:

“Those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.”

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
