Christine Grace Clark

September 12, 1952 ~ January 20, 2026

Christine Grace Clark, born on September 12, 1952, in Somers Point, New Jersey, passed away at the age of 73 in Vero Beach, Florida, on January 20, 2026, surrounded by her children and her youngest sister, Lindy.

Christine was born to William Buchanan Clark and Irene Hattie Becker. She graduated from Indian River State College with an Associate of Arts degree in 2010, having a lifelong love of writing and editing.

Much like the hummingbirds she loved, Christine was often found in her garden, moving from plant to plant, from flower to flower with tender care. While the flowers in her garden were beautiful—from a Queen of the Night to the aromatic gardenia, her most cherished blooms were her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She loved unapologetically. She laughed with abandon, often at her own sense of humor, in the most charming of ways. She approached everything with a curiosity that never ceased. Her writing was beautiful and so carefully constructed and thoughtful, each word planted with intention. And yet, it was always her garden that brought her home, whether it was her physical garden where she could “play in the dirt,” or when she was with her family.

She will be remembered in small moments of beauty, the way hummingbirds appear.

Christine is reunited in heaven with her daughter, Alexa Renee Provo.

She is survived by her children, Venus Christine Crowley and her husband, Thomas; Tarah Ashlene Noonan and her husband, Ryan; Chelsea Michelle Smith; and Paul Andrew Lerch Smith; her grandchildren, Mathew Everetts Wiley and his girlfriend Kimberly; Juleah Irene Martin and her husband David; Haley Christine Gould and her boyfriend, Benjamin; Hannah Faye Suarez-Mujica and her husband, David; Emma Renee Pickerill; Cecelia Irene Smith; Shawn Noonan; Bear Noonan; and Avi Richard Noonan; and her great-grandchildren, Avery Mae Miranda, Lily Sophia Suarez-Mujica, and baby girl Miranda, due March 2026, and her sister, Lindy Morrell.
In addition, she is also survived by the many people she called family and those who called her ‘mama Chris.’

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
