Regina P. Harder

July 30, 1957 ~ February 03, 2026

Regina Harder passed away peacefully on February 3rd, 2026, at 68 years of age. She was born on July 30th, 1957, in Stuttgart, Germany.

In 1991 she married Neil Harder, and active-duty U.S. Air Force serviceman who was stationed in Stuttgart at that time. Together they moved to the U.S. in 1994 with Regina’s youngest son Mike, and spent the majority of their marriage in Caseville, Michigan.

Regina loved her family “to the moon and back” as she would always say. She is especially remembered for her delicious cooking and famous “German Night” at the Bay Window in Caseville. Regina made everyone feel like family, and if you were with her, you could hardly go anywhere without someone approaching to give her a hug. In 2021 She and Neil fulfilled their lifelong dream of retiring down in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Regina loved walking the beach with her dogs and collecting beautiful seashells along the shore. Even though she loved sunny Florida, she never stopped rooting for the Detroit Lions.

Regina is survived by her husband Neil Harder, Mother Renate Steiber, sister Hilde Haverland, children Alexandra, Marco, Mike Francavilla (Andrea). Grandchildren Ramon, Ethan, Gabriel, Caleb, and Isaiah, along with her stepchildren Ben, Josh Harder (Kaley), Jasmine Allison (Fender) and step grandchildren Leo, Jackon, Rivers, Forest, Logan, and Silas.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
