Brian John Feeney

November 20, 1952 ~ December 30, 2025

Brian John Feeney died peacefully on December 30th, 2026 in Sebastian, Florida.

Born November 20th, 1952 in North Hampton, Massachusetts, son of John and Patricia Feeney he is predeceased by his parents and his wife, Suzy Feeney, and stepson Blake Buddensee.

Raised in North Hampton, Massachusetts, Brian matriculated to Boston College for his undergraduate degree, before going onto law school and beginning his life as an attorney.

After the death of his parents, Brian relocated to Vero Beach, Florida with his wife Suzy. Visits from children and grandchildren were a source of joy to their new warm weather home.

Brian love the calmness of fishing, always posing proudly with the “big one” he just got, and the excitement of watching a football game…especially his alma mater: the Boston College Eagles. You could always tell a game was on, when you’d hear a loud, “GO! GO!” boom from his deep voice. At other times he would seek the peacefulness of a long car ride.

As a widower, Brian made several close friendships in Florida, filling the role of friend, father, or uncle to those close persons, especially Monica and Heidi. Brian also maintained college acquaintances with Tom, Rob, and Mike who became even closer to Brian in his later life.

He is survived by his daughter Annah Nelson Feeney and stepson Brent Buddensee, his daughter-in-law Melissa Buddensee, and grandchildren Brandelwyn and Arwyn Buddensee of Bethlehem, New Hampshire and his daughter-in-law Holly Buddensee, and grandchildren Daniel and Jacob Buddensee of Harwich, Massachusetts.

I’m so sorry about the passing of Brian. Being in the same business and starting 10yrs ago which was about the time he did we would talk shop weekly. We worked together for many years. I will always have the guilt of not being able to do his 1 last ride. Even though he told me it was the hardest ride he ever made and I apologize for not being available to help. He said “never let it bother you I understand”. That was our last text. He was such a gentleman and the greatest of friends, I felt so comfortable with him on the other end of the phone with his deep voice. I know he is resting in peace with Suzy

I am shocked and saddened to hear of Brian’s passing. We’ve been friends since Junior High. We would occasionally talk by phone in recent years. He was always a good listener and a kind and warm person. He had many friends growing up in Northampton MA. I am sure they will be saddened to hear of this news. His father was our High School Principal and later Superintendent of Public Schools, so we all knew his dad. Brian was an only child so I know his friends became a kind of extended family. He had the deepest voice of anyone I have ever known. He loved to joke around and tease the people he liked. I share in the sadness with all of the people who cared for him.

Yes, Tina. Brian had a car service making runs to MCO and PBI as well as to several cruise ports. He will be missed by many here in Vero.

Very sorry to hear. Brian was a very likable person. We came from a similar neck in the woods and had similar types of education. I would see him from time to time in Vero Beach. My sympathy to his family. I know he will be missed.

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
