Al was a good friend and neighbor. He loved lunching with me and my lady friends. He was always a perfect gentleman and very kind. He liked telling us about his time in the Navy and how he enjoyed cooking. He lived just three doors from me so we talked frequently. I so miss seeing him.

Al was the first person I met when I first moved in at Ferndale Gardens. He was so quiet and polite but I knew he would be a good friend. Over the years we got to know each other better and he would talk a little more to me. We started going out as a group once a month Al said he would would go with his 4 Goddesses. We will all miss seeing Al but will never forget how warm and kind he was to us. We missed him right after he moved but we were happy he was with his family and friends he had not seen in a long time. Al I miss you but will never forget you. Love always your friend Betty

I met Al just before I joined the NAVY. He and my mother had met a short time before and after they were married moved to California and lived their best life for 36 amazing years. They lived life to the fullest enjoying eating, traveling, and even a Casino every once in one a while. I got to know Al better after Mon had past and never realized how in Love and Happy they were until he told me all the stories. Al is now at rest with his beloved Lillian (Mom). You will always be in my heart and thoughts. Steve and Lisa York.
