Vin had a brilliant mind and extraordinary depth of compassion for all living things. Throughout his life, he was always writing poetry, stories, plays, and novels. He was an avid, rated Chess Player and rarely missed a session with his buddies at the Imperial Point Chess Club.
He was born and raised in New Jersey with his sister, Pat Sartor and brother Peter Romano, Jr. His parents were Loretta (née Youngclaus) and Peter Romano.
Vin moved to Florida in 1996 with his wife Jane (née Yanover) and beloved children, Christopher and Sarah.
Vin is also survived by his sister-in-law, Cathy Plowman, his brother-in-law, Frank Yanover and wife, Jana Yanover and his sister-in-law, Elizabeth Romano, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Vin’s remains have been donated to the United Tissue Network for medical science research and training.
