Arthur J. Cohane

March 02, 1954 ~ April 25, 2026

Arthur J. Cohane, 72. Passed away unexpectedly and quietly at his home in Sebastian, Florida on April 25th, 2026 with his wife by his side. He was a beloved husband, devoted brother, grandfather and treasured friend, as well.
Born in Beverly, MA, to his mother and father, Katherine Patricia and George Arthur Cohane on March 2, 1954.
Arthur was predeceased by his parents as well as his brother Bob, and his first wife, Angela.

He was survived by his wife Catalina, who deeply love him and will miss him forever. So as by his sisters Mary and Alice, his brothers in Law, nephews and nieces, his daughter Christine and son John, his granddaughters and grandsons and many great grandkids.

Arthur graduated from Danvers high school class of 1972 and then graduated from North Shore Community College as an IT Technician.
He was the most kind, caring, loving and loyal man. Arthur was a friend to all he met. If you ever met Arthur, you would had love him. One of his favorite actives was going to Hiram’s having a beer and meeting his friends for happy hours every Thursday while his favorite band play.
Arthur was a men of few words, but when he spoke, it was from the heart. Sharing with his wife’s family was at times a challenge, and he preferred to stay in the background and quietly observe and laugh whoever, always embracing the joy of family gatherings.
Avid fan of Boston sports teams of all types, especially Celtics and Patriots. While his wife and him couldn’t always agree on everything they always agree that the Patriots was the best NFL team. Also loved to watch his favorite tv show, “the three stooges” watching them until the end. Became avid golfer upon his retirement in Florida, where he happily lived.
Arthur has left a forever hole in the hearts of all who had the special privilege of knowing and loving him.

Artie was a good friend back in Danvers where we worked together at Lechmere. He was always a positive voice and
cheerful.

So glad he had family to share a life with.

Artie was all that his tribute states. He was always on the mark when he spoke and had an encyclopedic memory. He was go-to when facts needed checking. He loved his Heinekens and as we used to say “President Kennedy drinks Heineken” to quote Jack Nicholson’s character in The Last Detail. That was a favorite of his despite Nicholson being a Laker fan. I can see him chuckle on that now while lifting his head up for a follow-up quip. He was a solid friend, a rock for Angela’s family and a positive influence to all who knew him. RIP with his good friend Donnie Brocher: no better Patriots fans and friends.

Artie was so happy when we saw him in Sebastian and especially on his wedding day at Spinelli’s. He was very much in love with Carolina. He worked in positives about her each time we talked. It was great that they had such quality time together.

Although I didn’t know Arthur for a long time, the time I did know him I felt he was a good man, very likeable and trusted. I saddens me that I wasn’t blessed with a long time friend. It would have been great to spend more time with him
I know he is in an awesome place and maybe we will meet again

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
