Patricia “Pat” Carlton

February 12, 1949 ~ May 19, 2026

Patricia Yates Carlton aka Patricia Ann Carlton or best known as “Pat” was born February 12, 1949 and passed away May 19, 2026 at the age of 77.  She was born in Fellsmere, Florida to Sidney and Helen Yates.  She was married to Robert Carlton. They were married on April 4, 1964.

Pat was a Cosmetologist/Beautician and was the co-owner and operator of Our Place Beauty Salon that was located on 43rd Avenue for many years.   After Pat sold her interest in Our Place she semi-retired for a few years.  Once she decided to go back to work she worked for Barbara Herndon at Cut & Curl in Fellsmere for several years and she also worked at the beauty shop at Indian River Estates for a few years.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Carlton; her daughter, Tammy (John) Harp, and her son, Robby Carlton; her grandchildren, Jenna Harp, Austin (Niki) Harp, Dustin (Taylor) Carlton; 9 great-grandchildren and one on the way.  Also her teacup Chihuahua, Baby, who misses her very much.

She was predeceased by her parents, Sidney and Helen Yates, her brothers, Jackie Yates, Billy Yates, David Yates, Jim Ray Yates and half-brother, Gene Hill.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date

Our family has scheduled a Celebration of Life for June 20, 2026 at Sebastian River Baptist Church, 1117 US Hwy 1, Sebastian, Florida. The service will begin at 3:00 p.m. and a reception with food and refreshments will follow immediately in the Church Fellowship Hall.

Pat was a terrific lady. There was never a dry eye when she was around because she would make everyone laugh so hard you would cry. She will be deeply missed by all. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family
