William Frederick Kluckas, Jr. of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away on May 17, 2026, in Vero Beach at the age of 90. He was born in Floral Park, New York, to William and Elsie Muller Kluckas.
He graduated from Middletown High School in New York and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Pace University in New York City. Throughout his distinguished career, he worked for U.S. Steel, Squibb, and Warner-Lambert. Following his retirement, he established his own consulting company, WFK Associates. His work took him to numerous countries around the world, where he formed many lasting friendships.
A dedicated and community-minded individual, Bill played an instrumental role in founding the Fanwood Environmental Center in Fanwood, New Jersey, in 1974. He was also a frequent contributor of articles to professional journals and often shared his views through letters to newspaper editors.
Bill had a lifelong love of jazz, attending countless concerts and enjoying many jazz cruises with friends. He was also an avid fan of the New York Yankees and the New York Giants.
Bill is survived by his wife Barbara Kluckas, his sister Joan Salmen, his two children David Kluckas and Christopher Kluckas (wife Jennifer), grandchildren William, Garrett, Emery and Ronan, in addition to two stepchildren.
Bill will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
