Joanne R. Hull
(March 10, 1940-July 10, 2026)

Joanne Hull, 86 of Palm Bay, FL passed away unexpectedly on July 10, 2026 at Palm Bay Hospital.

She was born March 10, 1940 in East Hereford, Quebec to John and Marabel (Brown) Rowell. The family moved to West Stewartstown, NH where they lived while building a house in Canaan, VT. Joanne attended Canaan Memorial High School, where she was very active as a class officer, majorette, and in the band, glee club and basketball. She graduated from Champlain College in 1960 with a degree in Junior Accounting. She started her career at Nugents Motor Company in Colebrook, NH and worked for various employers throughout Vermont and New Hampshire as a bookkeeper and payroll clerk until her retirement in 2005, after 18 years at Washington Central Supervisory Unit in Berlin, VT.

Joanne married Kellett “Don” Hull on July 9, 1982 and they lived in Middlesex, VT where they frequently entertained friends and family. She hosted the annual Lobster Feed every summer in their expansive back yard. She and Don enjoyed going out and frequented many of the local establishments in the Barre Montpelier area. On weekends, they often visited friends and family in Averill, Canaan and West Stewartstown. Summers usually included a trip to Maine and in the winter she visited Florida. Joanne was an avid reader and loved being by the water and in the sun, whether it was at the lake, ocean or poolside.

She had a great smile and sense of humor and could always make people laugh. She was very proud of and bragged about all of her children and grandchildren and attended as many ballgames, birthdays and graduations as she could.

She is survived by daughters Sue (Danny) Brown of Barefoot Bay, FL, Betty (Patrick) Sikora, Estero, FL, sons John (Sheryl) Hull, and Robert Hull, both of Barre, VT, grandchildren, Caitlyn (Kenneth) Hurren, Patrick Jr (Bryna) Sikora, Gabrielle (Ben) Roberts, Christopher (Caitlin) Hull, Craig (Lindsi) Hull, Jeremy Martin, Kyle Belevance and Dylan Belevance, her brother Avery Rowell of Concord, VT and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 30 years, Don Hull.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026 10:00 am at the Worcester United Methodist Church, 35 Worcester Village Rd (Rt 12), Worcester, VT 05682.
