Jason “Drum Stix” Drummer, born January 25, 1979 in Chestertown Maryland passed away on March 7, 2026 following a motorcycle accident while riding his treasured Harley Breakout. He leaves behind his beloved parents Irvin Oscar Drummer Jr “Skip” & Catherine Grace Drummer.
Drum was the middle brother of oldest Irvin Oscar Drummer III “Trey” and his wife, Yvonne Drummer and Uncle to Samantha and Logan, as well as his younger brother Jonathan Drummer and his wife Lindsey Drummer. He is survived by his grandmother Shirley Middleton who held an especially sacred place in his heart. MomMom Shirley was his entire world. They shared a bond deeper than words and she knew and understood Jason in a way very few ever could. He was proceeded in death by his grandparents, Mills Middleton and Irvin Oscar Sr & Irene Drummer.
Drum‘s life was never easy, but it was built on resilience, redemption and living it to the fullest on his own terms. Everything he had was earned and built with his own two hands something he was extremely proud of and always humble. He believed in hard work and it showed with his motorcycles, truck, crabbing boat “High Hopes II”, work truck and mobile mechanic business he created from the ground up.
Jason was a man who seemed to have a job for every season and truly enjoyed “working”. You never knew what adventure he was onto next from snow plowing and wood cutting in the winter to crabbing in the summer with everything from towing to mobile mechanic in between. sometimes you would also find him in Florida chasing after the dollar with his younger brother John doing construction work. he was a man who believed in hard work and earning every inch of the life he lived. Drum could do just about anything and was always willing to help someone along the way, if you needed a tire changed, a few bucks in your gas tank to get you by or something as simple as picking up something from the store. Jason was there without hesitation. He knew what it was like to struggle and once he found his footing in the world, he made sure to lift others up with him.
Drum‘s home was in Maryland, but his heart was in Florida and you never knew when he was headed south until he was three hours from his brother‘s place in Micco. He found peace there on the water, riding motorcycles, walking the beach and of course going to Daytona bike week. you could find him in a Daytona Walmart parking lot in his fifth wheel trailer camping with nothing more than a pack of Swisher white grape, a mattress, a backpack of clothes and his motorcycle. he showed up knowing no one and left with friends from all over and countless memories and stories to share. Jason never met a stranger only future friends who probably wouldn’t know the impact he would leave behind on them. His circle of friends was as diverse as his talents, and every single person lucky enough to know him has a story about how he showed up for them when it was needed the most.

Jason loved fiercely and lived fully. He adored his dog Harley and treasured every moment with friends. a true kid at heart, he had a rare gift with children and they always gravitated towards him instantly. he was trusted completely, whether he was making memories doing donuts in a cornfield with his best friend‘s kid on his lap or simply making a child laugh. He brought joy, adventure, and love everywhere he went.
Drum lived life “all gas, no brakes.” he laughed loudly, loved deeply, worked endlessly and embraced every moment he had. When God made Jason he broke the mold, there will never be another one like him. He leaves behind a family who loved him endlessly, friends who became family & cherished him deeply and memories that will live forever in every rev of an engine, every ride down an open road or through a cornfield, every cast in the water and puff of smoke.
