William (Bill) George Hubbard, born December 18, 1954, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2026, in Sebastian, Florida, at the age of 71.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Cynthia Hubbard; his children, Jennifer (Clifford) Gerich, Jessica (Brian) Taylor, Joshua (Jessica) Hubbard, Jared (Marysa) Hubbard, and Joline (Tim) Tebbs; his cherished grandchildren, Natalie, Kelsey, Piper, Hailey, Logan, Avery, Paisley, Noah, Scarlett, Masen, Sequoia, and Phoenix; his brother, Bernie (Lenore) Hubbard; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Emily Hubbard, and his sister, Barbara Dimaio.

Bill lived in many states throughout his life and touched the hearts of countless people along the way. During his time in Connecticut, he became deeply involved in his church and created a strong sense of community through his dedication, service, and love for others. His faith was the foundation of who he was, and he lived it every day through his compassion, generosity, and the example he set for those around him. Bill was truly a man of God, leading a life filled with kindness, humility, and a genuine desire to help others.

An avid outdoorsman, Bill found joy in the beauty of nature. Whether hiking and camping in the White Mountains or fishing, boating, and diving in the ocean, he was happiest outdoors. A lifelong dreamer and creator, he loved making candles, woodworking, and always had a new project in the works.

Bill owned a flooring business in New Hampshire, where he shared his knowledge and craftsmanship with his children, teaching them the art of tile work. He later became a successful businessman, traveling throughout the country to open and manage Family Pet Center stores. He found great satisfaction in flipping houses, remodeling homes, and using his woodworking skills to transform spaces. Bill was one of the hardest workers you could ever meet. He never quit until the job was done, even when his body begged him to stop.

Above all else, Bill was devoted to his faith, his family, and his friends. Despite many health challenges throughout his life, he remained resilient, kind, and deeply grateful. He had a gift for making people feel heard through meaningful conversations, laughter, storytelling, empathy, generosity, and genuine care. He was known for his unwavering willingness to help anyone in need. His playful spirit and goofy personality kept everyone smiling, often making up his own versions of songs just to make others laugh.

Bill’s greatest legacy is the love he gave so freely. His kindness, generosity, strength, and unwavering love for his family will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Though he will be deeply missed, the lessons he taught, the memories he created, and the love he shared will continue to live on in those whose lives he touched.

A private service celebrating Bill’s life will be held at a later date with family.
