Dennis Alan Dohm, 77, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2026. Born in New York, New York, Dennis moved to Florida in 1975 and never looked back. He loved Florida, especially the ocean, beaches, boating, and sunshine.
Dennis proudly served his country in the United States Army as a Military Police officer and received an Honorable Discharge in 1970. He was also a talented carpenter who owned his own business and spent many years building screened-in porches, lanais, Florida rooms, and more.
Dennis will be remembered for his independent spirit, his love of the beach, and his unique zest for life. For more than 25 years, he enjoyed jump-roping on Hollywood Beach, along with riding his bicycle and spending time by the ocean.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alban and Leona (Nagy) Dohm, and sisters Linda Ragozino and Sandy Retcho.
He is survived by his daughter, Angela Mitchell (David), grandchildren Madalyn and Zachary; his son, Christopher Dohm (Colleen), grandchildren Connor and Colton; and six great-grandchildren.
Dennis loved Florida and the ocean he called home for so many years. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family.
Military Honors and Presentation of the Flag by United States Army Military Honor Guard will be held at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Florida at the convenience of the family.
