I’m so sad for you all. She, with your support, put up a valiant fight against her illness.
I worked with her at Glassboro/Rowan in the counseling center. I helped her with the first crop of Pros.

I met Cindy about 15 years ago at the Red Coconut in Ft. Meyers, along wit my Mom, Kellie and Mia. Cindy and I have remained Facebook friends since then. We were mutual friends with Karol and Billy King from New Jersey.
I have alot of admiration and respect for Cindy. May she and Coco rest in peace together.

Cindy was such a kind and caring person. Although I did not know her that well, the stories, the pictures and her love of pets showed her love for her family and friends. Rest in peace.

We never met in real life; an entire ocean lay between us. Yet somehow, through our shared love for Portuguese Water Dogs, our paths crossed — and from that very first conversation in 2018, something special began to grow. A friendship that felt effortless, warm, and real, despite the distance.

You often told me you wished you could come to Sweden and visit us. That dream never came true, but it never stopped us from becoming close. We shared joy, worries, everyday moments, and the big life-changing ones. You kept me updated about your health with such honesty and trust, and it was an honour to be someone you chose to confide in from the very beginning.

I still remember the message last year when you wrote that the doctor said the cancer was gone. What happiness, what relief. All of us — near and far — hoped and prayed that you would win your fight.

It broke your heart when your beloved Coco Chanel “Coco” passed away. She meant the world to you. And you stood by us in our grief too, every time one of our own beloved dogs crossed the rainbow bridge. That was who you were — present, caring, and deeply connected to the people and animals you loved.

My dear, dear friend… now you have been reunited with Coco. But you leave behind a large circle of family and friends who will miss you more than words can ever express. My thoughts, and my family’s thoughts, go to your life partner Kate and your family.

Kate – I never met Cindy but your live was apparent. I can never appreciate your grief but know that you have an army of support and prayers from your family and friends. Rest easy Cindy … you have fought the good fight. Your angel wings are well earned.
