Connie Jo Hill, 79, of Sebastian, Florida, went to be with Jesus on September 17, 2026, slipping peacefully away in her sleep after a long battle with dementia.

Connie was born on September 4, 1947, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Chester and Velda (Clark) Hill. She attended high school in Canon City, Colorado, and later moved to Florida from Northglenn, Colorado. Connie was a resident of Sebastian for approximately 50 years, making the community her home for most of her adult life.

Throughout her working years, Connie served others in several capacities. She worked as a Clerk of the Court in the Traffic Division and later as a DWI probation officer for Indian River County. She eventually retired as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) from Indian River Estates, where her caring nature and desire to help others were reflected in her work.

Perhaps Connie’s greatest accomplishment, however, was being a mother. She spent many years as a single mother, facing life’s challenges while raising her three daughters. She often put her own needs aside so that her girls could come first. They were her priority, her purpose, and the center of her world.

Through difficult times, Connie found the strength to keep going, always striving to give her daughters the love, security, and opportunities that she had not had herself. She wanted more for her girls and dedicated herself to making sure they knew they were loved. Her greatest legacy will forever be the love she poured into her three daughters and the family that grew from them.

Connie is survived by her three daughters, Misty Sanders (Mike), Brenda West, and Dawn Harding; six grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester Hill and Velda (Clark) Hill; her brother, Ronnie Hill; and her granddaughter, Taylor Renee Boyland.

At Connie’s request, there will be no funeral services. The family will gather privately at a later date to remember and celebrate her life.

Connie’s life was one of perseverance, sacrifice, love, and faith. She will be deeply missed by her daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Rest peacefully, Mom. You are loved, you are missed, and you are finally home with Jesus.
