Andrew DeSantis

March 18, 1966 ~ November 08, 2025

On November 8, 2025, the world lost a brilliant light with the passing of Andrew DeSantis, age 59, a resident of Port Saint Lucie, Florida was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York.

To know Andrew DeSantis was to feel seen, valued, and loved. He had a way of looking at people, with eyes full of understanding and warmth, that made every person feel like the most important one in the room.

Andrew lived life with open arms and an open heart. He was unapologetically himself, never bending to fit anyone else’s expectations. His guiding philosophy was simple but powerful: listen to yourself.

He taught everyone around him that authenticity was not just a choice, but a way of living life to the fullest.

There was no half way with Andrew. He approached everything with infectious enthusiasm, boundless creativity, and the ability to turn even the simplest moment into a celebration. Conversations with him could stretch for hours, full of laughter, because he spoke to everyone as if they were his oldest, dearest friend.

He was a genius who dreamed big, loved bigger, and left a mark on every soul he met. His ideas were endless, his energy unstoppable, and his heart, immeasurable.

The world feels a lot quieter without his laughter, but those who knew him carry his spirit in the way they live, love, and listen to themselves a little more.

Andrew’s life reminds us that being alive is an art, and he was a masterpiece of it.

He is survived by his father Anthony DeSantis and preceded in death by his mother Rosemarie DeSantis. Also surviving are his brother Nicholas DeSantis, his adoring daughter Madison DeSantis (who deems him as the best father ever), his son Nicholas DeSantis (A son and friend who looked up to him. Their favorite pastime was sharing their ideas and perspectives with one another). his daughter’s Tiana DeSantis and Antonia DeSantis, and his ex wife and friend Kimberly DeSantis, as well as a community of friends and loved ones who will forever feel his presence in every moment that calls for joy, courage, and kindness.

He was blessed with a remarkable circle of friends; Lonny Brown, Peter Leventino, Jack and Ralph Sharaby, and the late Joseph DiCamillo who were truly more like family, friends committed to supporting one another through every season of life. From childhood days spent playing in their neighborhood to the many paths their lives eventually followed, they remained a constant source of encouragement and loyalty. Even when distance separated them, their bond never wavered and they definitely had one another’s backs no matter where they were. They stayed close at heart, cherishing old memories and continuing to create new ones through their conversations, visits, and reunions.

Andrew touched the hearts of so many, and he cherished more friendships than could ever be named. He would want each to know, you know who you are.

While Andrew rarely asked for help from anyone, he was always willing to help whether he knew you or not.

A private Celebration of Life for friends and family will be held on March 14, 2026 in Jensen Beach, Florida. Please save the date.

In his honor, live boldly, love deeply, and never forget to make the most of every moment, just as he always did

He will be in our hearts forever.

Rest in Peace Andrew, may you find comfort in our Lord’s arms until we meet again.

My deepest condolences to his family. Andrew, was a neighbor and childhood friend. We shared many fun times together back in our Brooklyn days. I can still remember his contagious laugh. We did talk recently just a few weeks ago and I glad I was able to hear his voice that one last time. I will always remember how he would say… WHAT, WHAT ARE YOU DOING JodiAnn…. in his upbeat voice :). He will be missed by many. He was a good friend of my brother JoJo and will never be forgotten. Live it up… up there my friend

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
