Ann Cervalli, formerly of College Park, Maryland, passed away peacefully at the age of 91.
Ann was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth, kindness, and dedication to her family touched the lives of all who knew her.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Paul and Mary Baker of Davidsonville, Maryland; her daughter, Colleen Barrera of Sebastian, Florida; her stepchildren, Joe and Ronnie Cervalli, and Matthew and Michael Cervalli; her stepdaughter, Janet Cervalli; her grandchildren, Joseph Rex Baker, Elizabeth Barrera, Erica Barrera, and Marc and Nicole Barrera of North Port, Florida; her sisters, Mary Perry of Fairfield, Pennsylvania, Kathleen Lock of Milford, Delaware, Frances Baker of Atlanta, Georgia, and Therese Schiappa of Millsboro, Delaware; her sister-in-law, Jane Schiappa; as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren: Sadie, Charles, Ian Barrera, extended family members, and dear friends.

Ann was preceded in death by her first husband, Carroll R. Baker, in 1988, and her second husband, Thomas A. Cervalli, in 2012. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Isabelle and Frank Schiappa, formerly of Hyattsville, Maryland, and later Snellville, Georgia; her brothers, Gerard Schiappa of Potomac, Virginia, and Jack Schiappa of Bowie, Maryland; and her sisters, Patricia Terry of Atlanta, Georgia, Joan Grabill, and Jean Scruggs of the Chicago, Illinois, area.

Ann dedicated 32 years to public service before retiring from the United States Government in 1992. Her distinguished career included 17 years serving in the United States Senate and 15 years at the United States Postal Service Headquarters in Washington, D.C.

Above all else, Ann was devoted to her family. She found her greatest joy in her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the many lifelong friendships she cultivated over the years. She will be remembered for her loving heart, generous spirit, unwavering commitment to those she loved, and a life well lived.
Her memory will be treasured always by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
