Ann (Igleheart) Rawling of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025. She was born on July 21, 1938, in Lakemore, Ohio.
Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard “Hike” Rawling; her parents, Renus and Nellie (Taylor) Igleheart; and her brothers, Jerry and Gene Keirns.
She is survived by her children, Richard (Yumi) Rawling, Shelley (Larry) Harris, and Tammy (Joe) Fessler; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren: her siblings, Louis Igleheart, Lloyd (Evelyn) Igleheart, and Sandy Alameda.
Ann grew up on her family’s farm in Akron, Ohio, where she developed a strong work ethic that guided her throughout her life. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1974 from Akron City Hospital School of Nursing and spent more than 30 years working as a registered nurse.
In 1980, Ann moved to Florida, where she continued her nursing career and built a life filled with friendships and meaningful connections. She had a lifelong love of reading, crossword puzzles, and history. During her retirement, she especially cherished time spent with friends, enjoying trivia, bingo and various card games.
Ann will be remembered lovingly for her sharp mind and her strong will.
