Carolyn Jane Robb

December 30, 1935 ~ October 24, 2025

Carolyn Jane Robb, born Carolyn J. Tabb, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2025 in Vero Beach, Florida, at the age of 89.

She was born on December 30, 1935, in Louisville, Kentucky. Carolyn grew up in Louisville and graduated from Male High School there. In 1952, she made her home in Vero Beach, Florida, where she lived for 46 years.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Bayard V. Robb.

She is survived by her beloved children: daughter Jan Bailey, and sons Benjamin Bailey and James Bailey. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren — Mike Mosquera, Daniel Mosquera, Tia Ceely, Max Bailey, and Dean Bailey — and her great grandchildren: Jack Mosquera, Luke Mosquera.

Carolyn lived a life defined by dedication, warmth, and service. After completing her high school education in Louisville, she devoted herself to her family and community. Over the years, she took on many roles — deeply involved in her church and local volunteer organizations, supporting causes close to her heart.  Carolyn was also an active volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, always ready to lend a helping hand to neighbors, friends, and strangers alike.

Her passions included reading and travel. Many who knew her remember her kindness and sense of humor — she had a way of making people feel heard, loved, and welcomed.

Carolyn’s family and friends will remember her as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother — steadfast, caring, and full of grace. Her life touched many, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorial contributions be made to The Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County, www.hsvb.org, in Carolyn’s memory.

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
