‘Til Valhalla’ Cheryl. Godspeed, friend. Thank you for caring about me and teaching me how to bake and for making the best fried chicken, and making us laugh with your shenanigans. And thank you for being brave enough to serve in our military. You’re free now with a sound mind and body in heaven, probably still pulling pranks. xoxo, love Kimberly & kids

I will always remember Cheryl’s sense of humor, an ability to transport life to the lighter side at any random moment. There was a characteristic readiness for fun in Cheryl. She dearly loved her 3 girls and her grandchildren. She was brave… try parachuting from an airplane…..and had the courage to serve our country in the military. I know that God has prepared a perfect place for her in his presence where there is no sickness or tears. I am thankful for the tremendous ongoing blessing of the family she left behind.

I long for the day when we get to hear you sing “we’ll go boating” again. I’m sure you will have a chorus of angels accompanying you next time and it will be as beautiful as everytime you ever sang it. I will love you always, mom.

We want to express great appreciation for Cheryl’s service and the sacrifices your family has made over many years to ensure our safety and freedoms.
We are eternally grateful for the opportunity to serve your mom (and your family) these past few years.
Cheryl was a remarkable character and an excellent writer. I will never forget the time I shared with her nor the many opportunities we were given to get to know her not only as a Veteran, but as a Mother, Grandmother and Woman.
We didn’t have the pleasure of knowing your mom when she was younger, but I’m sure she was a special person because she raised amazing human beings. Wishing your family peace and comfort during this unimaginable time.
