Clifford James Martin, III

January 05, 1985 ~ October 04, 2024

Clifford James Martin III, 39, passed away on October 4, 2024, in Vero Beach, Florida. Born on January 5, 1985, Cliff, affectionately known as Cliffy, was a spirited individual known for his love of sports and his dedication to his family. When he was younger he was a really good pitcher and enjoyed playing baseball where he had the joy of having his father as a coach. Cliffy attended Deptford High School. After high school, he found his calling in the service industry, working as a server where his charismatic nature made him a favorite among patrons.

A passionate sports enthusiast, Cliffy was an ardent supporter of Philadelphia’s sports teams, with a particular fondness for the Eagles, Phillies, and 76ers. His Sundays were traditionally spent cheering on the Eagles alongside his father, Clifford J. Martin Jr. Beyond the thrill of the games, he enjoyed wrestling and shared his love for sports with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. Cliffy also shared his birthday with his niece Kaylee and loved texting his niece Brooke late into the evening.

Cliffy’s personal journey was marked by his commendable battle with addiction, achieving sobriety which he maintained steadfastly until his passing. This personal victory was a source of immense pride for him and his loved ones.

He leaves behind a loving family: his father, Clifford J. Martin Jr.; his sisters, Kelly (Shannan), Christina (Gene), and Gertrude(Louis); his nieces and nephews, Joshuah, Sif, Michael, Parker, Shanan Rebecca, Brooke, Aubrey, and Kaylee; and his great-nieces and nephews, Abigail, Connor, Elisabeth, Michael, Annaliese, and Milo. He was preceded in death by his mother, Debra Rebecca Martin, and many other beloved family members.

A mass of remembrance will be held at a later date to celebrate Cliffy’s life and legacy. His family requests privacy during this time of mourning as they reflect on his life and the joy he brought into their worlds.

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.
