George Martin Henderson, 60, of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away on July 22, 2025.

He was born June 11, 1965 in Dallas, TX and had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1986, coming from Frankfort, IL. The only son of George W. and Loretta Henderson, George graduated from Lincoln Way High School, New Lenox, IL, in 1984. Following graduation, he began work as a plumber and continued this career for over 40 years. George was an active member of the Moose Lodge #1822.

He leaves his memories to be cherished by his sons, Zachary Henderson of Vero Beach and Quincy Tierney of Destin, FL; sisters, Sheila (Rick) Walker of Vero Beach and Cindy (Mark) Moreland of Vero Beach and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents, George and Loretta Henderson; sister, Darla McIsaac and nephew, Justin Walker.

A celebration of George’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vero Beach Moose Lodge, www.veromoose.com or to Treasure Coast Hospice, www.treasurehealth.org.

Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do.
