With hearts broken beyond words, we announce the passing of our beloved son, Ian Michael Champagne, who left us far too soon on May 10, 2025, at the age of 33.
Ian was a bright light in our lives—loved by everyone he met. He had a smile that could melt even the grumpiest mood, and a sense of humor that kept us all laughing. He loved water sports, video games, being with his friends and family.
Ian had a gentle heart. He defended the underdog, loved animals (especially his dog Buddy), and always seemed to know when someone needed a friend.
Ian was the youngest of 3 siblings, he was preceded in death by his oldest brother, Dustin Champagne. He is survived by his parents, Richard and Ramona Champagne, his older sister, Megan Brookman (brother in law James Brookman), uncles, aunts, cousins, and countless friends who loved him like family.
We will gather with close friends and family for a private service to celebrate his life and the love he brought into ours.
Our caring professionals are here to assist you and your family during this difficult time. We are available 24 hours, 7 days a week to assist in immediate arrangements or pre-arrangements.

I am deeply saddened by Ian’s passing. I remember the fun times we had swimming in the Florida Keys every summer. I look forward to when we can do that again together when the earth is perfect. (Hebrews 6:19)

I’m heartbroken to lose Ian so soon. My deepest condolences to his loving parents, Richard and Mona Champagne. Ian was caring and a friend to everyone. He will be truly missed as we adapt to his absence in our lives . It will be hard to know I can’t call you anymore, or hear you call me mama llama but I’m sure we’ll meet again someday. There’s so much I want to mention but I don’t have enough words to say how much you will be missed! I will cherish and hang on to the memories until I see you again. I will forever love you and miss your light! RIP my friend.

So sorry that you have lost another child. Parents never expect that to happen but sadly in this world so many unexpected things do happen. All those in my own family have died suddenly and unexpectedly-my mother first when I was only 32yrs old, then my nephew when he was 48 and sadly my twin 6 years ago. We have such a wonderful hope of seeing our loved ones again but we have to cope with and surive the sudden unexpected pain until that happens. Fortunately we have our worldwide family and Jehovah to help us.
