Jane “Jeanie” Hoffler of Vero Beach, Fl, passed away peacefully on Jan 12, 2026, with her devoted husband Alan (Al) by her side. She was born in Glasgow, Scotland on July 27, 1941 to parents John and Margaret Park.
Known affectionately as Jeanie by those closest to her, she was a kindhearted soul that was devoted to her family and friends, always offering encouragement, understanding, and a welcoming spirit. Jeanie’s gentle nature, thoughtfulness, and ability to make others feel valued will be long remembered by all that knew her.
Jeanie had an extraordinary passion for gardening and nature, finding peace and purpose in cultivating beauty wherever she lived. Her Arbor Rose Garden was a point of pride and a reflection of her patient care and appreciation for growing things. Among her favorite flowers was the Amaryllis, whose bold blooms mirrored her quiet strength and grace.
She had a lifelong love of birds, including hummingbirds, and kept a personal diary documenting the many species she encountered over the years. Some of her most cherished moments were spent sitting beside the serene Koi pond that Al poured his heart and soul into. It was a place of reflection and calm that brought her great comfort.
She also dearly loved her dogs, who were constant companions and a source of laughter and affection. In quieter moments, she found enjoyment watching Dr. Pol, a favorite program that reflected her compassion for animals and appreciation for care and dedication.
Jeanie is survived by her loving husband, Alan (Al) Hoffler; her children, Julie (Todd) Weeks, Bonnie (Scott) Reynolds, Michael Bair, Lisa (Todd) Waters, Tara (Michael) Cudney, Jodi Hoffler, Carey Holmes. Preceded in death by Alan Hoffler Jr. and Paula Holmes. Her grandchildren, Austin (Santana) Weeks, Nathan and Aidan Weeks, Alexandria Hunter-Bair, Dakota Schumm, Alyssa Bair, Joseph, John and Jeffery Skinner, Mikayla and Hayden Cudney, Cobi Souza, Devon Hoffler, and Logan Griggs; her great grandchildren Bruin and Boston Weeks, Ella, Malikai, Myla, Callie and Dakota Skinner, and Kaysan Mezroub; her brother Billy. Preceded in death by her parents John and Margaret Park and her brother John Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to a garden, wildlife, or animal-related charity, in keeping with Jeanie’s lifelong passions.
Her memory will live on in the gardens she tended, the birds she watched, and the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
