December 25, 1931 to April 6, 2026
Josefa (Josephine) del Valle Oliva Bologna, age 94, of Sebastian, Florida, passed away into God’s loving and eternal care on April 6, 2026. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Josephine was born in Argentina to parents Carmen Magdalena Gaamajo and Pedro Oliva. She met and married Jose (Joseph) Luis Bologna, moved to New York in 1957 and they became U.S. citizens. She was married for 48 years, and was preceded in death by her husband, and her daughter, Elizabeth Johns.
Josephine is survived by her daughter, Lillian Bland and son-in-law Fred Bland; her son James Bologna and daughter-in-law Lizabeth Bologna; and son Louis Bologna and daughter-in-law Lauren Diaz.
Josephine is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Melissa Robinson (and husband Robert Robinson II); Joshua Bland (and wife Lauren Bland); Tara Johns Evans (and husband Aaron Evans), Jessica Johns (and her husband Jason Johns), Anthony Bologna, and Caroline Bologna (and her fiancee Will Taggart).
She is also survived by her 12 precious great grandchildren, Jason Johns, Braeden Bland, Aaron Evans, Robert Robinson III, Selah Bland, Joy Johns, Reef Bland, Atlas Robinson, Jasmine Johns, Cali Bland, Cade Bologna and Raelyn Taggart.
Josephine was a beautiful soul, who is and will be missed beyond measure, gone from our sights, but never ever from our hearts. Not a day will pass us by, without her light in the sky. She is gone, yet ever near, her love still whispers, soft and clear. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.

To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. She will live on forever in my heart. I love you Grandma.

Lord, I pray for comfort, strength, and an abundance of love to surround all those who are close to her in the days ahead. May they find peace in knowing she is at rest, held gently in Your presence. Our sincerest condolences, Malitha
