Judith L. “Judy” Harrington, 80, of Melbourne, Florida, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 11, 2025, at William Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay, Florida.

Judy was born in October 1944 in Pasadena, California, to Ory McBride and Cora Bernice Whitney.

She graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, and went on to build a successful career as the owner and CEO of Harrington and Associates, a compensation consulting firm she led for more than 40 years. Beyond her professional success, Judy was a talented artist who found joy and expression in drawing and watercolor painting.

Judy was a faithful servant of God, known for her generous spirit and her deep love of caring for others. Through the Compassion for Christ organization, she faithfully sponsored children and families in El Salvador, touching countless lives with her kindness and devotion.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ory McBride and Cora Bernice Whitney, her mother-in-law, Maryruth Harrington as well as her brother-in-law Lynn Miller. She is survived by her devoted husband, Jon Harrington; her son, Christopher Pitts (Kim); her daughter, Michelle May (William); her stepson, Christopher Harrington (Maria); and her stepdaughter, Lauren Harrington. Judy was a proud grandmother to Jon Pitts, Justin Pitts, Jake May, Noah Asher (Morgan), Justin May, Anthony May (Jillian), Kyle May, Annalisa Harrington, Elly Harrington, Tim Leathersich, David Leathersich, and Genesis Leathersich. She also leaves behind many great-grandchildren, her sister Gayanne Miller, her brother Michael McBride (Margie), and many beloved nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Judy’s life will be scheduled at a later date.

She will be remembered for her creativity, her boundless generosity, and the love she poured into her family and community. Forever in our hearts.
