Lloyd Joseph Henigin

October 06, 1964 ~ February 21, 2026

Lloyd Joseph “Joe” Henigin, 61, of Hopewell, New Jersey, passed away unexpectedly on February 21, 2026. Known lovingly as “Pappy” to his grandchildren, Joe was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose greatest joy in life was his family.
Joe cherished long days at the beach, a good slice of pizza, and watching NASCAR, but nothing brought him more happiness than time spent with his grandchildren. Being their grandfather was one of the proudest and most meaningful roles of his life, and his love for them was endless.
Joe was also a beloved member of his BMFL family, a community he cared for deeply and considered an extension of his own family.
Joe’s kind heart, easygoing nature, and unwavering love for those around him will always be remembered by those who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his deeply loved parents, Charles W. Henigin and Donna Fitzsimmons Henigin, who meant the world to him and shaped the man he became.
He is survived by his sons, Ryan Henigin, Sean Henigin (Paige), and Steven Henigin; his grandchildren, Chance and an expected grandchild, Jett, sons of Steven; Hudson, Flynn, Luca, and Mila, children of Sean; his siblings, Charles “Buddy” Henigin Jr. (Lisa), Gloria Schaffer (Chuck), and Rita Ratliff (Rob); and his many beloved nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Joe will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who loved him.

My brother will be missed by many. He had such a big heart for all. He was living his life just as he wanted by visiting every beach he could. He also got to enjoy Daytona again this year another joy of his. He never had just friends everyone was family to him. Thank you for your loving thoughts and if you are at a beach or on a cruise make sure you say “Cheers” to Joey. Go be with mom and dad until we meet again. Love you forever!!!!

So unexpected and I’m glad you got to live life as you wanted to. Will remember growing up and cruising Pearl St just to meet up at McDonald’s to do burnouts in your Ranchero with the coolest lights in the hood scoop. RIP brother and until we meet again!

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
