Mark Goodrich

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mark “Pop Pop” Goodrich who went home to be with his Savior, Jesus Christ, On October 4, 2025, at the age of 91.
Born in Wallingford Connecticut, Mark was a United States Army Veteran, a graduate of the University of Connecticut and a member of the Knights of Columbus and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a man of unwavering Christian faith who cherished time spent with his family.
Mark was preceded in death by his wife Natalie who he married in 1960; parents Edwin and Mary; brothers: Edwin, Harold, John, Frank, Quetin, Roy, Richard, and Robert; sisters: Mary, Jean, Alice, Irene, and Dorothy. He is survived by his sister Kathleen DeCorso.
After a family vacation to Florida in 1981, Mark and his wife Natalie made the decision to embrace a more relaxed lifestyle. Mark left his job at the Connecticut Public Expenditure Council in Hartford and took his family to start anew in Florida. Mark and Natalie enjoyed the slower pace of life and often spent time relaxing on the beach, taking cruises, or just lounging in the yard, and most of all, they loved time with their grandchildren.
Mark was the proud father to his four children: Lori White (Randy), Lisa Monroe (Chris), Gary Goodrich (Monica), and Amy Goodrich (Todd). He was also beloved Pop Pop to his nine grandchildren: Tom Cavagnuolo (Talie), Joshua White, Natalie Harding (Christian), Shela Mulqueen, Jonathan White (Grace), Mark Cavagnuolo (Wynter), Jeremy White (Ashley), Cher Downey (Larry), and Paul Cavagnuolo; as well as seven great-grandchildren.
Mark’s ashes will be interned with his wife Natalie during a service to celebrate his life and faith on Saturday January 17, 2026, at 10:30 am at St. John’s Cemetery in Wallingford, CT. Donations in his honor may be made to the Wiliam Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay, Florida.
The joy and pride “Pop Pop” had in his family’s closeness has become part of who his children and grandchildren are, and that spirit will continue to live on through future generations.

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
