Phoebe Rose Burdick Klein

April 12, 1939 ~ November 16, 2025

April 12, 1939 – November 16, 2025

Phoebe Rose Burdick Klein, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on April 12, 1939, Phoebe lived a life defined by kindness and a deep devotion to those she loved. Family was the heart of her world, and she poured her love into every moment spent with her children and grandchildren, who will carry her wisdom and compassion with them always.

Phoebe was predeceased by her husband, Frederick R. Klein, and her son, Frederick R. Klein, Jr. Their memories remained ever-present in her heart, and she carried their love with her throughout her life.

She is survived by her daughters, Suzanne Klein Badley, of Vero Beach, FL, and Elizabeth Klein Senif of South Beach, OR. She was a devoted and proud grandmother to Alexandra M. Beuttell and Haley L. Beuttell, both of Jacksonville, FL, and to Christopher S. Senif and Nicholas F. Senif, both of South Beach, OR. She was also blessed with one great-grandchild, Trig A. Roberts of Jacksonville, FL, who brought her much joy.

Phoebe was known for her remarkable entertaining skills and her talent for bringing people together with warmth, grace, and effortless hospitality. Her love of travel filled her life with adventure and allowed her to form deep and lasting friendships internationally, most notably with her dear British friends. At the card table, Phoebe’s gentle demeanor transformed into spirited determination. She was a fiercely competitive card player, especially at bridge, pinocle and cribbage, and she was always ready for a lively match and never shy about celebrating a well-earned win. Those moments of friendly rivalry and laughter remain among her family’s fondest memories.

Phoebe’s legacy lives on in the lives she touched, the values she instilled, and the love she shared so freely. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit continues to shine brightly in the hearts of those who knew her.

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
