Teresa Marie Starnes

November 19, 1941 ~ January 04, 2026

Teresa Marie Starnes (Daniels), lovingly known as Terri, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2026, at the age of 84, and is now reunited with her parents, Teresa and Mathew Daniels; her husband, Douglas Starnes; her sister, Maria Roseberry (Daniels); and her brother-in-law, Lee Roseberry.

Terri spent most of her life in Cincinnati, Ohio, surrounded by family and friends, and dedicated her professional life to Fifth Third Bank, where she worked for many years and built meaningful relationships with those around her.

A few years after retiring, in 2005, and following her daughter Lisa’s move to Florida, Terri decided to become a “snowbird,” splitting her time between Ohio and Florida. She truly enjoyed the warmer weather (minus the hurricanes), her beautiful community, and her new neighbors. She enjoyed walking her beloved dog Remy, riding her bicycle through the neighborhood, and stopping at friends’ homes for happy hour. She loved her Florida life so much that after a few years, she became a full-time Florida resident.

Terri was known for her playful sense of humor and her signature eye roll, always delivered with just the right amount of sarcasm to make people laugh. She loved to gamble, playing video poker or traveling to Las Vegas with her sisters or even just the nearest casino, where she found excitement, joy, and the occasional win. Terri had a way of bringing laughter, personality, and warmth wherever she went, and she will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Terri is survived by her beloved daughter, Lisa Marie Quintavalle (Starnes), and son-in-law Kevin; her loving sister, Carol Johnson (Daniels); her nephews, Bill Johnson (Shannon) and Matt Johnson (Lara); and her great-nephews, Carson and Connor. She will be lovingly remembered.

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” – Matthew 5:4

What to say about the sister I had for 84 years. We were not just family, we were friends who shared a bedroom and as we grew shared vacation time to Las Vegas and Alaska and so much more. All the Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners and Shanghai card games with mom and dad and then just with us and dad. You joined Lisa in Florida and we were separated by miles but only a phone call away. I love you and will never forget you and the fun we had on our casino junkets. We have seen each other through good and bad times and happy and sad times and adventures to many different locations.
You will not be forgotten and you will forevermore be my sister. “Until we meet again.” ❤️

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
