William “Al” Jones, 63, passed away on April 22, 2025 at his home in Vero Beach.

He was born April 26, 1961, in Boynton Beach, FL and had been a resident of Vero Beach for 59 years, coming from Tallahassee, FL.

Prior to retirement, Al worked as a plumber and previously owned AJ Fencing. Al was a devout Christian and attended Faith United Fellowship.

Al was a man who never met a stranger, a beacon of warmth and laughter whose presence could light up any room. He taught us all how to live with generosity and greet each day with a smile. He will be missed dearly, but his spirit lives on in every handshake, every shared laugh and every act of kindness.

He leaves his memories to be cherished by his brother, Kery Jones of Vero Beach and many friends and acquaintances.

A celebration of Al’s life will be held at a later day.

Hadn’t seen Al in quite a long time. Was fortunate to run into him from time to time over the years. Al was a classmate of mine in first grade at Rosewood Elementary in Miss German’s class. Still have our first grade photo where he was seated front and center. Always remember him as a kind and caring soul. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. He will certainly be missed by many. He is now in the loving arms of our Lord Jesus Christ surrounded by his friends and family that preceded him. May you rest in eternal peace!
