Yves Demers

May 12, 1941 ~ June 28, 2025

Yves Demers, a cherished soul of Vero Beach, FL, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2025, with his devoted wife by his side, surrounded by love. Born on May 12, 1941, in St. Eustache, Quebec, Canada, to his beloved parents Rolland and Lucienne (Danis) Demers, Yves lived a life full of warmth and dedication. After 21 joyful years in Vero Beach, following his move from Chicopee, MA, he shared 34 beautiful years of marriage with his loving wife, Helene (Roy) Demers. A proud owner of Demers Construction, Demers Electric, and Temco Inc., Yves built more than businesses—he built a legacy of care and connection. An active member of the ELKS, he found community and joy in every moment.

Yves leaves behind his adoring spouse, Helene, and his children, Jennifer Arteaga, Robin Mikulski, and Cheryl Lonis, who will forever treasure his gentle spirit. He was predeceased by his former wife, Sandra (Gosselin) Demers, and a son, Anthony Spano but his heart remained open to his 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, whom he loved with all his soul. Also survived by his brothers, Michel Demers of Chicopee and Maurice Demers of Granby, MA. Yves’ memory will live on in the laughter and love he shared.

Arrangements were made under the direction of Millennium Cremation Services, with further details to be shared online. Condolences may be shared at www.milleniumcremationservice.com.

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
