Douglas Arthur Wiles

July 19, 1931 ~ March 03, 2025

Douglas Arthur Wiles, 93, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on March 3, 2024.

Born in Buffalo, New York, Doug developed a lifelong love for music and sports. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Bowling Green State University, he proudly served his country as a First Lieutenant in the United States Air Force. In 1967, Doug made South Florida his home, where he built a successful career in marketing and financial services.

Doug found immense joy in his work, which he continued until his final days. He frequently responded to those questioning his dedication with his signature saying: “If my mind works, I work.”

Doug’s life was a testament to his warmth, dedication, and kindness. He found immense joy in his work, traveling, and spending time with family, friends, and his West Highland terriers, Lilly and Annie. Doug was often described as a “true gentleman.” His charming manner and smile will be cherished by everyone who knew him.

Doug is survived by his devoted wife, Tenna; his children, Cynthia Netter (William), Teresa Lynne, and Scott Wiles (Kim); his stepdaughters, Tiffany Shiver (Hampton) and Meredith Marsh; his eleven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Clifford and Blanche Wiles, and his sons, David Wiles and John Wiles.

Recent Reviews

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.
