Robert F. Tasick, 78, of Vero Beach, Florida went home to our Lord on March 3, 2023. He was residing at the ArdieCopas VA nursing home. The staff there was amazing as they assisted him through the final stages of Parkinson’s disease.
Robert was born in Glen Ridge, New Jersey on August 21, 1944 and was the only son of Frank and Stella Tasick. He grew up in Vermont.
Robert served his country in the United States Navy during Vietnam. He spent most of his life working and living in West Caldwell, New Jersey and New York City as a general contractor. He was most proud of being on the cover of Builders Digest for his work in New York.
He was preceded in death by Marion Tasick, his wife of 35 years. They had retired to Florida together.
He is survived by John, Michelle and Buddy Kista, Marion’s family, of East Hanover, New Jersey. They were very special in his life. He is survived by his son by a former marriage, Sean Tasick of Hackettstown, New Jersey.
Robert is also survived by Patricia Pemberton of Vero Beach. They committed their lives to each other in 2015 on the beach. Robert would want to be remembered for his love of God; music and the beach, which we shared in his latter years.
His ashes will be scattered to join Marion’s on Cape Cod.
Our caring professionals are here to assist you and your family during this difficult time. We are available 24 hours, 7 days a week to assist in immediate arrangements or pre-arrangements.

You will always bring a smile to my face for the many wonderful memories we shared. We packed a lot of life and love into those 9 years.
I will miss us, but I know you are in a much better place. I love you, Patty

We will always remember the family togetherness we shared for over 35 years. You were more of a brother to us than an in-law and we will miss you and the love we shared with you and Marion. We were so happy you met a wonderful woman like Patricia and her family to love after losing Marion. We know in our hearts that Marion sent her to you so you wouldn’t be alone. Be at peace our family is waiting to welcome you. All our love Michele, John and John Michael (Buddy) Kiska.

You brought much happiness to my sister, who loves the beach as you did. Robert also loved The Lord’s Prayer, and we said it together many times. Praying for peace and comfort for all those who knew you and clinging to God’s promise in John 3:16: “ For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.” With love and sympathy, Suzan, Mark and Ruth

R.I.P. my Cousin. Remember growing up and you were my older cousin “Bobby”.
My family would visit yours at your childhood home, 41 Johnson Ave., Bloomfield, NJ very often.
Once I hid in the bushes as a small child, while you worked on your car in the garage and you walked over
with a bottle of soda for me.
Our family was close to your parents as well through the years. Your mother was my mother’s Aunt.
Warm memories. Love, Judy McDonald G.
