Albert Marcelli

Albert J. Marcelli, 94, of Port St Lucie, Florida, passed away June 1, 2020 at Martin Memorial Medical Center North in Stuart, Florida.

He was born June 6, 1925 in Newark, New Jersey and had been a resident of Port St. Lucie since 2017 , coming from West Palm Beach where he had lived since 2013 moving there from New Jersey.

Mr.Marcelli was a U. S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II.  He served in the Asiatic Pacific Area from December 3, 1943 to December 15, 1945.  He participated in action at Guam from August 3, 1944 to August 10, 1944.  He was awarded Certificate of Satisfactory Service and Good Conduct Medal.

Mr. Marcelli was self-employed over the years owning various businesses including a Lincoln Mercury Dealership in the 1950’s in Belleville, NJ and a Shell Gas Station.  He also owned a farm/vineyard in Sweet Water, NJ.

Mr. Marcelli was a member of the Roman Catholic faith.

He is survived by his wife, Vera P. Marcelli and daughter, Laura.  He was preceded in death by his first wife, Frances; daughter Frances Lynn as well has his three special loves, Daisy Mae, Dee Dee and Sarah.
