Amy Lynn Callaghan

November 20, 1979 ~ January 08, 2024

“Gypsy”, 44, of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away January 8, 2024 at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital.
She was born on November 20, 1979 in Miami, FL. Amy leaves two sons, Vincent and Nicklaus Cavallo of Palm Bay, FL. Amy will be grieved by a multitude of friends she held close to her heart, a grumpy old dog named Jackson and life partner, Jeff Hawk.
Those of us blessed enough to have known Amy will understand why the world is now a darker place with her absence.
A jewelry maker, repurposer and entrepreneur, her artwork lives on through her business “Twisted Gypsy”. A local bartender and long-haul truck driver, her life, though short, was more fulfilled than most people twice her age. With an open door and open heart to any in need, Amy will be missed most by those who called her “Mama”, her friends and boyfriend who will forever be lost without her wisdom and love.
If Amy were here, she would say to all who read this… Forgive and Forget, but Never Forget to Love, Out loud each and every day like it was your last.
Donations in her honor can be made to the next person you see who needs help even though they may not ask.

Condolences may be shared on this tribute page.

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
