Andrew Richard Trombly

January 25, 1968 ~ March 24, 2022

We regret to announce the passing of our brother, Andrew Richard Trombly, who passed away on March 24, 2022. Andy had a difficult battle with Pancreatic Cancer and is finally at peace. He is predeceased by his father, Richard Trombly, and mother, Joyce Trombly. He is survived by his siblings, Dr. Laura Trombly, Duane Trombly, Kay Trombly, Jill (Tim) Gorman, Travis Trombly, and Clint Trombly. He is also survived by his six nephews and three nieces.

Andy was a proud High Honors graduate of Michigan State University where he majored in Supply Chain Management. More recently Andy worked at Busch’s Fresh Food Market and Fresh Thyme. His hard work, attendance and thorough practices are legendary. He cherished every friendship where his unique brand of humor was appreciated by all.

Andy enjoyed sports and was very competitive. He was also an avid golfer and would faithfully attend his annual links outing. In his spare time, Andy followed current events and politics. Later in life, he developed an interest in woodworking. He even designed and made his own kitchen table, amongst other impactful do it yourself projects.

Andy was a simple, thrifty man. Above all else he valued his family and was a dedicated Cat-Dad to Beezee, who was a 6 month old feral kitten upon adoption. Andy displayed great patience with Beezee and made tremendous strides in helping him overcome his reluctance regarding human interaction. Andy was a kind, caring man and will be deeply mourned by all. The family has chosen to have a small private service at a later date.

Andy and I were mutual friends of Bill W so often crossed paths “around the tables” in Novi and when he worked at Busch’s. He always stopped what he was doing in the store to say hello and share a little moment of gratitude. We played golf a couple of times and he was a long hitter. I am sad to learn of his departure. He will be well remembered in our circles.

I had the pleasure of working with Andy at Busch’s in Novi. Andy was a great co-worker, who was hardworking, knowledgeable and would always crack a few jokes. I had the privilege of being able to golf with him a couple years ago when we still worked together. I’m sad to hear about his passing due to cancer but I know he’s in a better place now.

I am glad I had the pleasure to know and work with you for the 3 years we were together at 1205 Busch’s. You are one of the most caring, hand working, and funny people I have met. I’m sadden I didn’t know about your illness. You will truly be missed in the world Andy. Rest in paradise!

One of a kind, Andy. He was such a character, I cannot keep from smiling when I think of him. Andy was one of, if not the hardest workers we ever had at Buschs and he could not stand lazziness! He was a jokester, some very funny…some like “what did he just say”?, as you just shake your head lol. He took the initiative to build shelves to organize the dairy cooler, and it made such a difference. Although he will be missed. I AM SURE Andy is in Heaven now, rearranging. organizing. putting up shelves and cleaning it all up! When you hear thunder. It will not be from the storm. It is the floor of Heaven shaking and rocking with all the laughter Andy is bringing to the saints and angels.. RiP Andy, sad you had to leave, but overjoyed that pain is no longer yours and you are finally reaping your Heavenly rewards.

I’m a little biased, but Andy was a superior human being. He never had a hateful bone in his body, but always stood up for his beliefs. His mind worked in very practical/ethical and cost efficient ways to correct any problem that crossed HIS path. I will miss you, little brother, until we meet again. ❤️❤️

I shared time and personal stories with Andy at a Wed night support meeting. I was especially touched by his kindness and the sincere care he had for everyone. And his warm smile could light the room. Someone whose company I wanted to share. Andy leaves an empty space and find memories.

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
