Anita Mae (Bateman) Aulick passed away peacefully on April 2, 2024 after a prolonged illness.
An avid gardener, Anita had a green thumb and could grow just about anything, especially orchids, roses and any kind of vegetable. Founder of the Southern Sewing Sisters, she was an excellent quilter and seamstress and taught sewing classes at the Salvation Army of Vero Beach. She also volunteered as a Sunbeams leader. Small but mighty, she was a talented pool shark and won many local competitions.
Anita was pre-deceased by Thomas- her loving husband of 55 years, her parents Myron and Iris, sister Ruth and brother Mike. She is survived by her son Richard and her daughter Cassandra (Todd). Grandchildren Alecia, Alexandria (Corbitt) and Karissa. Great grandchildren Faith, Ethan and Olivia. Siblings Pam, Cyndie and Tommy, plus numerous nieces and nephews.
Our caring professionals are here to assist you and your family during this difficult time. We are available 24 hours, 7 days a week to assist in immediate arrangements or pre-arrangements.

Anita will be missed so much! Both as a sister-in-law and a friend. We spent many hours together playing cards and doing crafts as well as sewing.
Our love and prayers to the family.
