The man who gave me my best chance at a successful and prosperous life has left this world. I am deeply saddened that I could not express my thankfulness just one more time to him before he left. As I walked out into the garden trying to comprehend that I will not be able to speak with him again, two beautiful white doves took off and flew into the distance. It was a comforting moment that had a deep impact on my calmness. I said “farewell Carry, and thank you for everything you have done for me”
A Memory kicked in of him drinking a coffee with my mom on his porch playing a very bad Dutch song about coffee by Rita Corita. I laughed because I now knew why I felt the urge a few days ago to play that song (February 1st). Farewell Carry. You will live on in my memories and catchy humor that I picked up from him.

I remember Carry how proud he was when he presented to my parents all the newspapers I was in with my Basketball presence in his hometown of Elizabeth Forward, Pennsylvania. That year I lived there with him was one of the best years in my life. He later told me that this was also a very happy year for him.

I picture him and me at the warrior gym of Elizabeth Forward High School. He was so happy here and I was too, knowing he had my back even when I forgot to bring my basketball shoes before the game. He was always there for me.

I remember him and me with a box full of Hogies (subway sandwiches). He would never let me forget that normally one would sell these and bring them to the clients but I had people coming to his house to pick them up. He couldn’t stop laughing how I thought (at the time) that this was better. “You crazy kid” he used to say with his typical laugh.
Carry, you live in me and I will always treasure you in my memory.

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
