Barbara A. (Forsberg) Rubin of Vero Beach, Florida, passed peacefully February 16, 2023. Barbara was born in Fitchburg, MA to the late John Forsberg and Bertha (Leduc) Forsberg. Barbara was predeceased recently by her beloved husband Monroe S. Rubin of 54 years. She is also predeceased by her sisters Helen LeBlanc, Loretta Balser and Celia Guiliana. Barbara will be deeply missed by her children, Roger Duquette and his wife Marianne of Wilbraham, MA. Janet Balser and her husband Dan of Vero Beach, FL. Sandra Stebbins and her husband Michael of Vero Beach, FL. Linda Houghton and her partner Dianne Lee of Guilford, VT. Barbara Klocker and her husband David of Sebastian, FL. Also survived by seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two nieces, and one nephew. Barbara was a gourmet cook, talented artist, and loved cruising. Honoring Barbara’s wishes, there are no calling hours or public services. A private service will be held at a later date.

Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
