Carla I will miss you very much…you have such a passion for life, your kindness and compassion helped me so much when I first met you!
When we had lunch at The Manatee in Ft. PIERCE we talked for hours!
I’m so glad we shared that time together.
You and J were the happiest couple

Carla,
You made my hearing training memorable, you made sure I had the confidence to go out into the community and be proud to be a hearing and vision technician. I only wish that the last time we saw each other at the workshop that I had the time to go for a ride in your car, I will always remember you in your green little bug.
Now you can hear the harps play, rock on even in heaven.

I am so sorry to hear of Carla’s passing. She was such a sweet, caring person and was such a good friend to our mother Elizabeth Kuhn. The pennies and the many cups of tea and coffee with her at Zukey Lake. My thoughts are with you all .

We worked with Carly at the Detroit Health Department’s Vision and Hearing Program for many years. She was always helpful, kind, warm, and funny. She loved giving updates regarding her family, the band, and Florida. The entire team in Detroit will miss her!

Carla was one of the first persons who I met after being hired as the State’s vision consultant. She would have been a much better hire as she unequivocally knew the responsibilities and mission of the vision consultant role. She was, herself, a highly skilled and caring vision and hearing technician and health department coordinator!
Carla was a kind and friendly and very knowledgeable professional who made a profound difference in behalf of children. She also made a most favorable impression upon me by guiding and mentoring and helping me to learn my new job. She gave me a wonderful appreciation for the dedicated technicians I would be working with and the children we would be serving. Her help was unconditional and invaluable. I was grateful for her professional guidance and friendship. Thank you Carla! You were appreciated!
My sincere condolences to her family and loved ones. She will be missed!

My condolences to Carla’s family and close loved ones. We had met through the vision program and had a unique connection because of the vision program and Michigan (Tecumseh) history. You are missed on this side….til we meet again
