Carmen Dilia Carrasquillo Montero, 43, of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away June 19, 2021 at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital.

She was born April 30, 1978 in Puerto Rico and had been a resident of Vero Beach for 20 years.

Carmen worked many years for local McDonalds restaurants and most recently managed the location in Lakewood Park. She was a very hard worker and a dear friend of the owner and her co-workers.

She is survived by her husband of 7 years, Gregorio; children, Kiara Oquendo, Edwin Oquendo and Joshua Oquendo; mother, Carmen Montero Ramos; four grandchildren and 4 brothers.

A private service will be held at a later date.

They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do.
