Catherine L. Day Miller

September 09, 1952 ~ December 15, 2022

Catherine L. Day Miller, 70, of Barefoot Bay, Florida passed away after a brief battle with cancer on December 15, 2022.

She was born on September 9, 1952, to Charles Day and Catherine D’Agostino. Catherine was raised in Cambridge, MA by her mother and Nana Grace after her father’s passing. She graduated from Cambridge Latin High School in 1970 with her lifelong best friend, Arlene Anderson McGlasson. Catherine later moved to New Hampshire to raise a family and grow her career. After many years with Johnson Controls, she retired in 2017. Upon retirement, Catherine relocated to Barefoot Bay, Florida where she enjoyed endless summers and spending time with family.

She loved traveling, camping, and spending time with her large family and many friends. She always felt her friends were family and family had always been most important to her. Those same values were used to build a successful career while making many lifelong friendships along the way.

She leaves her memories to be cherished by her children, Bradley Miller and his wife, Lindsay, of Sebastian, FL; daughter, Tracy Miller of Litchfield, NH; grandchildren, Maya Gaw, Emma Gaw, Hudson Miller and Miles Miller. Her grandchildren were her world, and they would never go without hearing “Mimi loves you bunches!”

A Celebration of Catherine’s life will be held at a later date. The Miller Family appreciates the outpouring of love and support from many friends and family, near and far. In lieu of flowers, please consider a gift to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org, in memory of Catherine L. Miller.

Dear Brad & Tracy-we are so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. Though we lost touch over the years, we will always remember the fun times we had at Crescent Campsites. She was always happy, laughing & just a lot of fun. We have so many happy memories. Sending love & hugs to you and your families. Dolly & George Flanders

I have so many great memories of growing up like when at a cottage in Groton mass with Nana D’Agastino and Uncle Jim she sent us out to pick dandelions so she could cook them! Well no way we’re we going to eat them things and when we would come up to Littleton with my Dad he would say “Red” when you gonna join this family? She always said I am a part of your family ! Hanging on Chalk street where Arlene lived and Dana park going to the dances on Saturday night too many stories to mention, but the greatest memories I’ll never forget❤️ sorry for the loss of your Mom treasure her memory ❤️

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
